Jessica Ausman (She/Her)
RYT-200
Jessica Ausman is a hatha yoga instructor (and forever student of yoga and life) who uses asana, meditation, mudras, pranayama, stillness and alignment to encourage balance, strength, flexibility, softening and resilience. Through awareness of the present moment, single-pointed attention, the practice of letting go and gratitude, Jessica aspires to use yoga to attune the self to its most authentic nature with the belief that this inspires extraordinary transformations and growth in all areas of every student’s life.
Jessica completed her 200-hour certification of yoga in Chicago in 2019 and currently teaches a Restorative class. Students in this class combat stress and anxiety by practicing at a slow, meditative pace and engaging in passive, long-held, prop-supported asanas, which allow the muscles and fascia to deeply relax.
In addition to yogic philosophy, Jessica also studies and practices Zen Shiatsu – a type of bodywork which brings balance to mind, body and spirit through physical touch and acupressure.
