Lyric comes to ZYG with a passion rooted in the mind-body-soul connection, holistic healing, and a love for her community. Lyric started to cultivate her own alignment and healing through a dedicated home yoga practice in 2020. As she explored yoga as a holistic healing modality in her own life, she began to witness how transformative yoga really can be for your overall wellness, and became inspired to expand her knowledge and share it with others.

Yoga set Lyric on a journey to deepen her education around holistic healing practices and wellness, which led to her graduating from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts as an Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner in 2023. She has completed certifications in Holistic Wellness Coaching, Holistic Nutrition, and Mindful Meditation. After completing her degree, she signed up for ZYG’s 200 hr YTT as well as their GAP Program in order to add Yoga to her offerings and began her teaching career at ZYG in 2024.

Lyric’s goal as a teacher is to hold space for her students and guide them through exploration of their own unique bodies and experiences through yoga, both on and off the mat. She encourages yoga as a tool to deepen students’ relationships with not only their physical wellness, but their wellness as a whole. She aims to embrace the individuality of her students with kindness, respect, and compassion, allowing space in class for intuitive movement, mindful awareness, and emotional processing. She uses eclectic music, breathwork, and intentional theming /sequencing to create an environment where students feel safe to move, breathe, learn, grow, and let go. Her classes feel lighthearted and fun, yet mindful and intuitive. At the end of the day, Lyric hopes to use yoga to help build an inclusive + empowered community rooted in healing, growth, connection, and fulfillment.

When Lyric isn’t teaching, she enjoys moving and grooving to her favorite tunes, painting, spending time in the sun, meeting new people, eating great food, and cuddling with her baby cat Galvatron ( :
