FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How should I prepare for class?
Come to class nourished and hydrated. Please give yourself extra time to park and arrive to the studio with time to check in and get familiar with the space. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class begins.
Come in clothing that is comfortable to move in, bring a mat, towel, and water bottle (or we have all available at the front desk). Practice is barefoot, unless otherwise noted in the class description (i.e. Gone Runnin’)
Are Mats/Towels Available?
Yes! Mats are free for your first class, and $3 to rent after that. Towels are available to rent for $2
Where should I park?
While we highly recommend public transportation, ride sharing, or biking, there are pay to park spots on Milwaukee ave, and free parking in the surround neighborhood streets.
What Amenities are available?
Yes! We have 2 locker rooms (he/they, she/they) and both are equipped with showers and full privacy stalls. All showers have toiletries provided.
We also have complimentary tea, coffee, and ice in our lobby. Additional drinks and snacks are available for purchase
What Class is right for me?
Our goal is to have an option for every body to practice safely.
If you are new to yoga: we recommend beginning with Vinyasa 1 or Zen Hot for a full bodied class at an accessible pace.
If you are looking to relieve stress: we recommend our Zen Yin for a meditative, deep stretch, or our Zen Restore for a mindful practice revolved around rest and slowing down. You can also check out our Sunday Slow down offerings (every Sunday at 7:15) for rotating, restful, experiences
If you are looking to rev up: Try one of our Zen Burn, Zen Barre, or Zen Pilates classes. These classes all focus on building strength and control to support your Asana practice.
If you are pregnant, postpartum, or preparing for your pregnancy journey: Check out our prenatal and family yoga classes!
